31st INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON BALLISTICS

4th - 8th November 2019 | HICC Hyderabad, India

Message from President IBS

Dear Prospective Attendee,

It is my great pleasure and honor to invite you to attend our 31st symposium that will take place at the Hyderabad International Convention Center, the first one to happen in India. We are very excited about going back to Asia and look forward for all the networking opportunities this symposium will bring. The International Symposium on Ballistics is the best meeting in its field. We regularly receive 300 to 400 participants and publish 200 papers where the abstracts are peer reviewed by a well-qualified committee. Our last symposium in Long Beach, California, USA, had representatives from 27 countries and all the continents. The symposium is usually run without parallel sessions, giving the attendees the possibility of listening to all the talks or, alternatively, attend a poster session. The posters are an outstanding opportunity to connect with your peers and discuss technical details with them. Alternatively, you can meet with our exhibitors which are also an important asset of the symposium. Some 20 to 25 exhibitors display during breaks and poster sessions their state-of-the-art technology.

If you are interested in the cutting-edge state-of-the art scientific research in the field of ballistics, including terminal, interior, or exterior ballistics, explosion mechanics, launch dynamics, or vulnerability, this is the reference symposium. You will find the best technical quality mixed with great networking and a prime location for sightseeing and visits. We hope to see you and wish that you enjoy it!
